Lionel Foster (NZCSD) has been engaged in Cadastral Land Survey since September 1995, commencing as a Survey Technician when he was employed by a Survey Company based in Kaitaia, Kaikohe, Kerikeri and Whangarei.
Over the next 8 yrs, a solid backbone of 14000hrs experience in Subdivision (from application to the issue of certificates of title) was gained. This backbone assured a competency in all aspects of subdivision administration and it’s Resource Management connections.
In October 2003 he started a Survey Firm under the name Country End. This served very well to broaden the former experience, taking up the opportunities of working in the field from just 15mins south of Cape Reinga Car Park in the North and as far south as a property on Tahuna Road, North Waikato District. Up until the end of last year, liaison (involving Resource Consent Applications and Submissions) had been made with 6 local bodies, concluding with spearheading the voluntary preparation of extensive submissions and evidence for hearings on the Auckland Unitary Plan.
In 2017, the Firm was re-branded to Altisurv. The re-branding coincides with the Firm’s goal of running with the latest advances in digital surveying technology to tailor both Resource and Surveying Solutions within the wider Auckland Region and Northland – Kaipara, Whangarei, and Far North Districts.
